Peony (Ranunculaceae) Building Brick Potted Flower recreates the full, many-petalled bloom of a peony in warm coral-red tones. The finished build shows one lush bloom with a yellow center on a single stem, surrounded by small orange accent flowers and green leaves in a compact white pot. Why this build: the many layered petals are shaped and built up individually for the peony's characteristically full, rounded bloom; the warm coral-red color gives the piece bold visual presence at a small scale; the small accent flowers around the base add extra color and fill out the potted look. Kit includes: small eco-friendly ABS plastic bricks to build the peony bloom, stem, leaves, and accent flowers, plus the included pot. No glue is required. The many petals are layered and snapped together by hand to build up the full bloom, then the stem, leaves, accent flowers, and pot are completed section by section, with no tools or glue needed. A lush, extravagant flower form that makes a satisfying small display piece, well suited to gift-giving or a beginner brick build. Suitable for ages 14 and up.
